(*) Authors of papers accepted for WMSCI 2020, or any of the conferences, symposia or special tracks held in its context, may apply on-line for
a IIIS complimentary membership. |
- All attendees, authors and non-authors, must register and pay the registration fee in full. One-day registration fees are not available.
- Similarly, if two or more authors of the same article attend the conference, each of them must pay his/her respective registration fee in full.
- To qualify for Advance Registration
discount, your payment (check, credit card charge, wire transfer),
not your payment commitment, must be received:
- Before or on February 20th, 2020
if your paper was accepted before or on February 5th, 2020.
- Before or on August 5th, 2020
if your paper was accepted after February 5th, 2020, or
if you are not an author.
- To qualify for the IIIS members' registration
fee, the membership number must be provided right at the moment of
registering. Those who become IIIS members after registering will
not be able to benefit from the members' fee. No exceptions.
- Full-time students at academic institutions
will have a discount of US$ 100 off the registration fee above
indicated. This discount applies just to the registration fee. To
qualify for the discounted fee, students must provide, right at the
moment of registering, their student ID card number, and then send,
via fax or attached to an e-mail, an official certification issued by their
university or institution, dated within nine months of the conference starting date, verifying they are full-time students and
a copy of their valid Student ID card, both of them are required.
Full-time students that register at the conference must have both
forms of verification with them when they arrive at the registration
desk.
- Each registration fee entitles the
presentation and/or publication of one paper of up to 6 pages. The
registered author may include at the most one additional paper (of
up to 6 pages) at an extra charge of US$ 400. Both papers must
be authored and presented by the registered author. The second-paper fee is not a registration fee.
Please be advised that, if the registration fee payment is received
after August 7th, 2020, or if it is made at the
registration desk, the paper will not be included in the Proceedings
that will be available by the date of the conference, but in the post-conference
volume of the Proceedings and in the post-conference edition of the
CD version of the Proceedings.
- There is a limit of 6 pages for each
paper in the Proceedings. At most 2 additional pages can be included,
as long as the registered author pays the fee of US$ 75 per extra
page.
- Registration fee includes:
- One (1) volume of the hard copy
version of the Conference Proceedings (if you are an author, you
will receive the volume in which the paper that you associated to your registration was published) *
- CD-ROM version of the Proceedings *
- Coffee breaks and a welcome reception
* Please, be advised that if your paper is included in the post-conference volume of the proceedings and the respective CD, these will not be ready until, at least, two months after the conference is over.
- The registration fee does not include
any post-conference services.
All authors registered to participate virtually in BMIC 2020, and those who registered for face-to-face participation and due to unforeseen reasons could not attend the conference, should pay the respective shipping and handling costs when requesting the shipment of the proceedings. Proceedings orders will only be received from September 30th, 2020 to November 30th, 2020. On September 30th, 2020, registrants will receive an e-mail containing
the User ID and Password required to submit their order.
Any other post-conference
administrative requirements will be charged at a rate of US$ 20
per staff hour required to fulfill such a requirement, with a minimum
of US$ 10. Post-conference requirements will have their own deadline,
which, in no case, will be more than four (4) months counted from
the last day of the conference.

|
|
This
site uses industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption
technology to protect your credit card information.
Although the system used for credit card information transmission is
quite secure, some users prefer to fax or send via e-mail their credit card information to
us separately. You will be offered a choice of this payment option
during the registration process. Since we cannot securely receive your signature
or other authentication information, through e-mail, we cannot
accept registrations via e-mail.
